Ultimately, Eric's lifelong passion is still in pastry and baking. BAKERY SATE is a direct result of Eric's passion for French style pastry.
Professionally trained with a Diploma of Baking and Pastry from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and a Red Seal Baker, Eric holds strongly to the practice of making everything in-house from scratch.
Eric also holds a degree in Pharmacology from UBC, as well as a MBA. He has worked many years in Vancouver's technology field developing wireless electronics. He has travelled extensively in Europe, especially to France due to his work.
